AltShift is a mobility tech company building alternative ways to get underserved communities and sectors where they need to go: charging and mobility hubs, coordinated rides for people who don't drive, and long-haul regional transport.
Why underserved communities
It's easy to assume a low-density area is a strange place to build mobility infrastructure. Low population density usually reads as low demand. But that logic cuts both ways: low density also means there's often no existing alternative. In a dense city, a new mobility service competes with subways, buses, and a dozen other options. In the communities AltShift targets, for many trips, there isn't one. That combination of real unmet need and real, provable demand is what makes underserved communities and sectors the right place to start, not an unusual one.
